First Farmers Holding Corporation (FFHC) is an agro-industrial business enterprise with interests’ primarily in sugar milling, refining and recently, power generation for export. Its agro-industrial complex is situated in Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, approximately 18 kilometers north of Bacolod City, the provincial capital of Negros Occidental.
In 1994, it was also recognized as the most environment friendly sugar mill in Western Visayas by the DENR – Region 6 Office and in 1997, it was recognized as the most environment friendly sugar mill in the country by the Association of Integrated Millers. On October 2, 2003, First Farmers Holding Corporation became the first and only ISO 14001 certified sugar mill and refinery in the country.
